Frequently asked questions

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days of purchase.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

Domestic Shipping (Australia)

Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and location.
Complimentary standard shipping is offered on orders over AUD $150.

Tracking Your Order

A tracking number will be provided once your order has been shipped.
You may track your parcel via the carrier’s website.

Delays

While we strive for timely delivery, Quay Clothing cannot be held responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs processes, or unforeseen circumstances.
We recommend placing orders early during peak seasons.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Quay Clothing is not liable for packages once marked as “delivered” by the carrier.
If your order is lost in transit, please contact us immediately at nate.ma10@icloud.com so we can assist in lodging an investigation with the courier.

Every manufacturing partner we work with is thoroughly vetted before production begins. We assess material quality, craftsmanship, consistency, working conditions, and production capabilities to ensure they align with our brand standards. We do not work with mass-production facilities that prioritise speed over quality.

Our local manufacturing partners allow us to maintain closer oversight, faster development cycles, and refined attention to detail, particularly during sampling and quality control stages. Our international partners are chosen for their specialised expertise, advanced production techniques, and ability to scale while maintaining consistent quality.

Across all facilities, we require:

Strict quality control at every stage of production
Ethical and responsible working conditions
Reliable consistency between batches

We regularly review production outcomes and maintain ongoing communication with our partners to ensure standards are not only met, but continuously improved. Any facility that fails to meet our expectations is not retained.

At quay we have mandated most shipping costs within the product, meaning shipping will be free domestically (Australia), and have a different set for international shipping fees.
